Two schoolgirls were killed and five others injured as a commuter train hit a school van carrying 11 students at Krittipur level crossing in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore yesterday. The deceased are Mohua Khatun, 13, daughter of Khokon Mia of Karim Ali village, and Mili Khatun, 13, daughter of Habibur Rahman of Gulnagar village of the upazila.
